Princesses & a meal at Cinderella's Royal Palace
If you or your littles love Disney princesses, you can book breakfast, lunch, or dinner, in Cinderella's Royal Palace. You can make this into a super special event for a birthday or special occasion by doing so.
There is a premium for this (like most things in Disney)
Bipity Boppity Boutique
Details about what this is. Prices

Books up fast. Must book 60 days in advance as soon as bookings open for your desired date. If you miss it, keep checking back in case someone cancelled.
There is a rumor that the folks at the boutique keep a couple of "walk in only" spaces open for each day. I haven't had anyone fortunate enough for these yet, but this rumor keeps popping up. If you weren't able to book and really want to go to the boutique, try being the first one at their doors the morning of when the park opens. You may get lucky
When to buy tickets
"Should I buy park tickets online before we leave, or can we buy our tickets when we get to the gate?" This is probably the most common question when it comes to Disney parks, and the thing we have to remember is that times have changed since we were kids and went with our parents / Disney keeps progressing.

It is always ALWAYS recommended to purchase your theme park tickets in advance. While it is still possible to purchase your tickets once you arrive at Walt Disney World

Additionally some parks require you to make reservations ahead of time
Verify: , because park reservations ahead of time are now required. (The folks at Disney have to make sure the park does not go over capacity for safety reasons), and to keep it fair for all the guests.

Theme Park Reservations
What are they & Do I need them?
Disney is a fantastical place, one of magic and memories for the whole family. Which also makes it very popular and....thereby requires some additional measures put in place to ensure everyone is able to enjoy their experience and enjoy it safely too (capacity limits and such).

Theme park reservations (made via your app) plus valid tickets are required to access the Walt Disney World parks. It also depends on the type of admission (park hopper vs standard tickets) that you have, and what date you are visiting on.

Let me explain,
If you have one of these tickets, or fall into one of these groups then you are required to make a theme park reservation before arriving
-
Student Groups tickets
-
Sport & Convention tickets
-
Florida Resident Discovery Disney Ticket
-
Disney Military Salute Ticket
-
Annual Passes
-
Any other ticket type not mentioned

There is an exception to this rule. If you have any of these date-based ticket types, then you do NOT require a park reservation
(Date based tickets are the ones that require you to choose a start date of your visit when you book -- i.e. I will be in the park on May 30th )
-
Date- based 1 day ticket
-
Date-based multi-day ticket
-
Vacation packages with date-based tickets
-
4-Park Magic Ticket
-
3 Day, 3-Park Ticket

Important!
For admission types listed above that require you to make a theme park reservation, CHECK RESERVATION AVAILABILITY BEFORE PURCHASSING! Theme park reservations are limited quantities and subject to availability each day. Availability is also subject to change until you finalize your reservation.
Yup. There it is the fine print. But the really important fine print everyone needs to be aware of.

What if I have a Park Hopper Ticket or Annual Pass? Do I need to make a reservation for each park each day? What if I don't know what other parks I want to visit are?
Don't worry. Guests with the Park Hopper benefits or an Annual Pass can visit other theme parks throughout the day (subject to capacity limitations).
For these ticket types, you only need to make a theme park reservation when:
-
You have a non-dated ticket, and
-
Only to enter your first park of the day.
Theme Park Reservations
How do I make them?
Alright! So you are ready to book your disney trip? Perfect!
To make sure you get everything you are hoping for (admission wise), we need to follow these 3 steps
1. Check Availability
If you are purchasing a ticket type that requires a theme park reservation, make sure you check if reservations are even still available for your desired entrance date into that park, before your purchase your tickets.
Tip: Different types of admission (tickets / packages / annual pass holders) may have different theme park reservation date availability. Keep this in mind when looking for availability & purchasing your tickets
2. Purchase Park Tickets
Here's the unfortunate part of being an adult. Choose from the admission options available & that suit your vacation style and budget. Purchase tickets
Tip: Book your theme park reservation immediately after buying your tickets. Availability is limited and subject to change.
3. Make your Theme Park Reservation(s)

Okay, I get that, but how do I actually make the reservation?
Not a problem, once you have purchased your tickets follow these 4 steps:
1. Confirm your park admission is linked to your MyDisney account
To get started, you will need to confirm that your park admission that you just purchased is linked to your MyDisney account.
To do this, log into your MyDisney account. Update your current address if need be in your account. Afterwards confirm that your valid admission is linked to your MyDisney account. If not, link it now. Remember: All guests in your party must also have a valid park admission linked to their profile.
If you are also staying at a Disney Resort onsite, verify that that reservation is also linked in your MyDisney account, or link it now.

2. Create your party
When you begin to make a theme park reservation, you'll be prompted to create your party from your Friends & Family list
All you need to do is select the family and friends you'd like to include, as well as the pass or ticket to be used for each party member and then select "Continue"
What is someone in your travel party isn't showing up?
Make sure they have a valid park admission linked to their MyDisney account and they are in your Family & Friends list

3. Select a Date and Park
Choose the date and the theme park that you’d like to visit from the available theme park reservations. Remember: dates and theme park selections are limited and subject to availability.

After creating your party, you’ll be prompted to view a calendar and choose one of the available dates for your visit. Select your date and choose an available theme park. Next, you can confirm your theme park reservation.

4. Review and Confirm your plans
Carefully review and confirm your selected park and date.
If you need to make any changes, select the “Back” button to revise your selections.
Before confirming, you’ll need to agree to the Terms & Conditions. Then, select “Continue” to complete your theme park reservation.
Once confirmed, your theme park reservation will appear in My Theme Park Reservations on your account.

If you would like to make another theme park reservation, simply select "Make Another Theme Park Reservation" to continue planning.
Reminder: If you have multi-day tickets, you must make a theme park reservation for each day of your visit

You Are all Set!
What are Good-To-Go days?
Good-To-Go days are select days when annual passholders may visit a Walt Disney World Theme Park without needing a theme park reservation (subject to pass blockout dates and capacity limitations). These days will be added periodically, and may be released days or even weeks in advance.
