Travel has always been one of my greatest passions, and in 2023 I took the leap to turn that passion into a career. Since then, I've had the privilege of helping incredible clients plan destination weddings, honeymoons, luxury vacations, guided tours, and unforgettable adventures around the world.
I believe travel is about so much more than flights and hotels. It's about celebrating life's biggest milestones, creating lasting memories with the people you love, and experiencing places that stay with you long after you've returned home.
Whether you're dreaming of saying "I do" on a beautiful Caribbean beach, exploring Europe by rail, embarking on a bucket-list adventure, or simply escaping somewhere warm for a week, my goal is to make the planning process feel exciting, seamless, and stress-free from start to finish.
One of the experiences that has shaped my business the most was planning my own destination wedding. Having gone through the process myself, I understand firsthand the excitement, questions, and occasional overwhelm that can come with planning a wedding away from home. It's also one of the reasons destination weddings have become such a special part of my business.
Today, my husband and I live in a small community just outside Lloydminster with our daughter, Maddison. One of the things I love most about owning Travel With Megan is the flexibility it gives me to build a business I'm passionate about while raising my family and continuing to support clients across Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and beyond. While my home office may be located on the Prairies, my clients and their travel dreams take me all over the world.
Before launching Travel With Megan, I spent more than 10 years working as a Health, Safety & Environment professional in the Oil & Gas industry. That experience taught me the importance of organization, attention to detail, clear communication, and proactive problem solving—skills that continue to serve my clients well today. Whether I'm coordinating a destination wedding for dozens of guests or planning a complex multi-country itinerary, I bring the same level of care and professionalism to every trip.
